Rugby Union

With ten community clubs and over 2000 participants, Central Coast Rugby Union is fast becoming a major force in producing quality Rugby players and competitions.

Central Coast Rugby Union and Central Coast Junior Rugby Union provide a range of Male and Female competitions for all skill levels and welcomes all new participants to join their growing competitions.

Our local clubs welcome anyone interested in participating or volunteering for their local team.

Rugby was first played competitively on the Central Coast in 1970 after the Brisbane Waters Rugby Club was formed in 1968.

CCRU have a strong representative program available for participants with teams and players competing annually in the NSW Country and NSW State Championships.
