Wyong Water Polo Club
DESCRIPTION
Wyong Water Polo was established in 1978 and is part of the Central Coast Water Polo competition. The home pool is located at Wyong Olympic Pool, Ithome Rd Wyong.
Wyong Water Polo includes both men and women divisions and caters for all ages from 7 years up to our senior division for all skills and ability levels.
Wyong are always keen for new players to give the sport a go from our Flippaball program right through to any parents that are interested, no experience needed!

ACTIVITIES OFFERED
Wyong Water Polo offers the following participation options:
Our season begins in October and runs through till March.
Our juniors (U12s, U14s and U16s) play on a Saturday morning at either Wyong Olympic Pool, Gosford Olympic Pool or Peninsula Leisure Centre. Training is on either a Monday or Thursday night at Wyong Olympic Pool and normally finishes with a BBQ (so dinner is all covered)! We also have a Flippaball program (modified version of water polo for kids under the age of 10 where kids learn the basics of the game in shallow water).
Our seniors include players of all different ages, abilities, and experience. We have social grades for any new players or players coming through from our junior age groups, as well as first-grade teams for more experienced and competitive players. Our seniors play on a Wednesday night at either Wyong Olympic Pool or Peninsula Leisure Centre. Training is on a Monday night.
All players have the opportunity to travel throughout the season on various social weekends away. In previous years our juniors have gone away for the weekend to Wagga Wagga, Orange, Balmain, and more. Senior players have the opportunity to travel and play at Country Club Championships and travel to Byron Bay for the annual Byron 5’s tournament. There is also the opportunity to try out for the Central Coast representative team and play at State and National championships.
