Woy Woy Wombats Water Polo
DESCRIPTION
The Woy Woy Wombats Water Polo Club is a family-based club providing opportunities for people to come together to and enjoy the sport of water polo in a fun and friendly atmosphere.
We have Summer and Winter competitions which cater to all ages and abilities, with games played at the Peninsula Leisure Centre (PLC) and Wyong and Gosford Olympic Pools.
Junior matches are played on Saturdays, with training held midweek at PLC, whilst Senior matches are played on Wednesday evenings, with training held midweek at PLC.
Woy Woy Wombats have representative opportunities to play for Woy Woy and the Central Coast throughout the season.
ACTIVITIES OFFERED
Woy Woy Wombats offer the following options:
Summer:
Flippa Ball 8-10 year olds Saturday mornings at the PLC.
U12s mixed competition versus other CC clubs on Saturday mornings.
U14s girls, U14 boys, U16s girls and U16 boys competitions versus other CC clubs on Saturday mornings.
Seniors (U18s and Opens) play on Wednesday evenings versus other CC clubs.
‘Newbies’ comp for adults on a Saturday afternoon
There are representative opportunities to play for Woy Woy and/or Central Coast at tournaments.
