Toukley Netball Club
DESCRIPTION
Toukley Netball Club is a community netball club competing in the Wyong District Netball Competition.
Our club began its humble beginnings in 1965, with one ladies team competing under the Toukley banner.
We welcome players of all ages and abilities and are always seeking new members and volunteers to join our club. We are a family club with a dedicated committee and have a variety of coaching and officials positions which we always welcome people to put their hand up for if they wish to be involved.
We currently have players between five and 50-years-of-age participating in our club and can cater to boys who wish to play Netball up until the age of 12.
Our matches are player at Wyong’s Baker Park on Saturdays.
ACTIVITIES OFFERED
We participate in the Wyong District Netball Competiton whose competitions types include:
Net Set Go: Australia’s official starter program for girls and boys aged five to ten. It’s a chance to learn the netball basics, get outside and make some friends. For a lot of kids, this is the first time they’ll pick up a netball. It’s a learning experience and a lot of fun.
Net Set Go Games: Join a club, develop your skills and play games in a non-competitive environment.
Junior Netball: For kids aged 10-17 years who want to take the sport a bit more seriously. You’ll play across a full season, improve your skills and fitness, and make friends for life.
Seniors: Senior Competition Netball is a great way to stay fit and healthy and make friends. Senior Netball can cater to all abilities and skill levels so you can push yourself and compete or just sign up with friends and have fun.
Representative Program: We provide a representative program for players aged 11-17 years of age, as well as opens and master’s teams. These teams participate in the NNSW Championship and have been very successful in both junior and senior divisions.
Twilight Netball: Our Twilight social competition runs for 6-8 weeks in October for those who have played in the winter competition and for those who would like to come and try netball. Twilight Netball provides participation options for juniors, ladies & mixed teams.
