Floorball
ABOUT THE SPORT
Floorball is a fast-paced, six-a-side (Five field players and a Goalkeeper) sport, which is similar to hockey and played on an indoor court.
Known as “innebandy” in Sweden, “salibandy” in Finland, and “unihockey” in other parts of Europe, Floorball was invented in the USA but has been most popular in Sweden since the 1970s.
Floorball is played on an enclosed rink, with a plastic ball, and has seen a rapid increase in popularity worldwide and is suitable and highly enjoyable for any age and ability, from beginners to elite athletes.
Peninsula Floorball provides opportunities for participants to experience the sport on the Central Coast, with game splayed on Tuesday afternoons at Peninsula Leisure Centre.
All players and ability are welcome, so come along and see why Floorball is fast becoming one of NSW favourite sports.
Floorball is suitable and highly enjoyable for any age and ability, from beginners to elite athletes.
