Saratoga Hawks Junior AFL Club
DESCRIPTION
The Saratoga Hawks Junior AFL Club commenced operation in 2001 – As a small family club, we pride ourselves on our welcoming atmosphere and our inclusion of players of all levels of ability.
We are based at Saratoga Oval and dedicate our time to teaching children new skills, fitness, teamwork, and community spirit through the great game of AFL.
We have both boys and girls teams and provide opportunities to play AFL at Auskick level and from under 9 through to under 17.
ACTIVITIES OFFERED
Saratoga Hawks offer the following participation options:
We offer Auskick for children aged 5-7/8years.
We also have U9, U11, and U13 teams (boys and girls can play in these teams). In 2021 we also have a U15 boys team in partnership with Terrigal Avoca.
Saratoga Hawks is one of the founding clubs of the Youth Girls AFL competition which started on the Central Coast in 2017. We have YG13, YG15 and YG17 teams.
The U15, YG15 and YG17 teams compete in a combined Central Coast – Hunter competition so some travel to clubs in the Hunter region is involved.
