Central Coast Dragon Boat Club

The Central Coast Dragon Boat Club started in 2002 and steadily built to become one of the premier racing clubs in Australia with a diverse membership of paddlers including our team the “Sea Dragons”, our dragons abreast team the “Coastbusters”, state representatives and social paddlers.

We are proud to call the beautiful Central Coast our home with its stunning waterways and a wonderful community feel.

We are an easy-going and social group that is always on the lookout for new members who love the outdoors, being on the water, staying fit, and having a laugh……But make no mistake, we paddle with heart and love to win!

Right now we are looking for new members to join us! We paddle throughout the year on Budgewoi Lake at Toukley on Sunday mornings and one or two nights a week, depending on the season

In 2009 we were awarded NSW Club of the Year for our contribution to the sport. In September 2014 we competed in the World Club Crew Championships for the first time and were delighted to win bronze in the open 200m event as well as making the finals for every event we entered.

In 2015 we had our most successful Australian Nationals, where we placed no.3 in Australia from the 60 competing clubs. We won gold in both the master’s women 500m race and the mixed masters open 2km turns race, plus 2 other silver and 3 bronze medals.
