Central Coast Basketball
DESCRIPTION
Central Coast Basketball provides development programs, domestic competitions and representative pathways for over 3000 registered participants and a range of activities on a weekly basis.
Whilst our core business is Basketball, our Sports Stadium – featuring four championship-sized courts and 1000 capacity grandstand – also provides opportunities for participation in a range of sports and activities including Netball, Volleyball, Dancing, Cheerleading, Exercise Classes, School Holiday Camps and a range of community events.
Our Stadium is also the home of the Central Coast Rebels Junior and Central Coast Crusaders Senior Representative Teams who compete in sanctioned Basketball NSW competitions and events and has previously held large sporting events such as the recent NSW Senior Waratah League Grand Finals, Under 20’s State Championships and National under 20’s Tournament and Sydney Kings Pre-Season Games.
ACTIVITIES OFFERED
Development Programs – Start for children aged just 18-months, with our term-based programs available for players up to 17-years-of-age to provide them with the skills required to learn the game of basketball and develop skills to compete at a representative level.
School Holiday Camps – We offer school holiday camps for school aged children as well as approved individual coaching for players of all ages.
Domestic Competitions: Runs Monday-Friday and includes competitions from Under 7’s through to Masters.
Representative Pathway: We provide representative options for Junior and Senior participants, with our Junior Representative Team the Central Coast Rebels featuring almost 200 players competing in 20 teams across four age groups (Under-12’s, 14’s, 16’s and 18’s) in the Basketball NSW Eastern Junior League. Our Senior Representative Team is the Central Coast Crusaders, who consist of almost 80 players across five teams and compete in the Basketball NSW Waratah League Competitions.
