Wyong Men’s/Women’s Bowling Club
DESCRIPTION
Wyong Men’s and Women’s Bowling Clubs offer regular social bowls on most days of the week including Twilight Bowls during the summer period on Friday evenings.
We offer men’s and women’s specific activities but also offer a range of mixed-bowls activities.
Junior members can be as young as 12 years old, with our members ranging across all ages from 12 to over 80 years of age.
ACTIVITIES OFFERED
Within our Clubs, Championship Competitions are held annually in the following categories – Minor/Major Singles; Minor/Major Pairs; Major Triples and Major Fours.
Our Clubs also participate in Zone/District Pennants competitions with the winners going on to compete in State Finals.
We also provide coaching for new bowlers. A number of our local schools participate in our short term afternoon programs on our greens and there is also interest in our ‘barefoot bowls’ from groups celebrating special occasions or just wanting to give it a try.
