DESCRIPTION
Tuggerah Lakes Field Archers (TLFA) is a family-friendly club which has been established for over 35 years. The ranges are located at POMS Camp, Brothers Road (off Little Jilliby Road), Jilliby, NSW.
We promote archery in a social and family environment and have established programs which emphasise high standards of sportsmanship, friendship, cooperation and ethics.
We coach members in recreational and competition archery and encourage personal development through participation in our sport.
TLFA caters to participants of all ages and abilities, with our youngest members being only six years old and our oldest members currently in their seventies.
Our club has several ranges in a bushland setting at Jilliby and meets two weekends per month, with our calendar available on our website www.tlfa.com.au
ACTIVITIES OFFERED
Tuggerah Lakes Field Archers offer the following activities:
Coaching Program: Our Coaching program is a ten-week program which gives students of all ages the basics required to shoot safely and with enjoyment. Throughout the program students receive instruction which enables them to acquire the skills necessary to be a competent beginner archer. Each session is for one hour and participants can begin at any time.
Competition: Our competitions are held once per month either on the Field range or unmarked Safari range and are open to both members and visitors.
