Northern Giants Australian Football Club

DESCRIPTION

The Northern Giants Australian Football Club is a club that caters to all players from 5-17 years of age, boys and girls, in Auskick and Junior/Youth Team programs.

We encourage a spirit of sportsmanship, loyalty, and support, and develop a culture of respect for the club, the jumper, and the players.

Pre-season training, normal training and home games are held at Northlakes Oval, Emu Drive, San Remo.

Pre-season training starts in early March with normal season training starting in early April. Club competition games are on Sundays. The competition age groups are Auskick (girls & boys 5-8yrs), Under 9’s, Under 11’s, Under 13’s, Under 15’s Boys, Under 17’s for girls & boys.

ACTIVITIES OFFERED

The Northern Giants Australian Football Club offer the following participation options:

We provide an Auskick program for girls & boys 5-8yrs which introduces young children to Australian Football as well as helping to develop their gross motor & social skills.

Our grade football competitions includes Under 9’s, Under 11’s, Under 13’s, Under 15’s Boys, Under 17’s for girls & boys.

We are an ‘all abilities’ club with a philosophy that all people can play Australian Football.

We also have an annual ‘Fight MND’ day associated with one of our regular round games in June, to help raise much-needed funds to fight Motor Neurone Disease.
